  • Seminar Outline

Singapore is one of the largest commodity trading hubs in Asia for oil and gas, agri-commodities, metals and minerals. However, the role and value of Singapore commodity trading hubs are often not fully understood, which may lead to uncertainty on the compensation of trading activities conducted in Singapore. It is important that companies can substantiate the functions performed, assets used and risks assumed by the Singapore commodity trading hub in these transactions, to ensure that the transfer price for related party transactions is reflective of their contribution to the value creation of the group.

BDO in collaboration with Enterprise Singapore (“ESG”), is organising this seminar that aims to give you a thorough understanding of key transfer pricing developments in both Singapore and globally. We will bring together BDO experts and industry practitioners to discuss the latest tax and transfer pricing challenges faced by Singapore commodity companies.

  • A holistic view of the role and value proposition of Singapore commodity hubs by ESG.
  • What you need to know about international developments and the “first-of-its-kind” commodity industry-specific transfer pricing guidance issued by Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.
  • Sharing of practical case studies and landmark commodity transfer pricing cases.
  • Insightful panel discussion by BDO experts and industry practitioners on Singapore, Indonesia and Australia tax authority experiences and tips to manage commodity transfer pricing risks.

Global Tax and Finance Heads, Regional/Country Tax and Finance Managers and key decision makers of commodity companies.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear from our distringuished speakers and to network and exchange viewpoints with other participants!
