It is the time of the year for employers in Singapore to prepare the Return of Employee’s Remuneration (Form IR8A) for its employees. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to many employers adopting flexible work arrangements, such as working from home and remotely from overseas. In response to this developing trend, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore has introduced several tax measures, some of which may affect employers reporting. With several individual tax issues arising from the current pandemic, employers must ensure accurate and timely reporting of their employees’ remuneration in Form IR8A, which is due for submission by 1 March 2022.
BDO will be organising a live webinar to provide you with the level of understanding and knowledge of the individual income tax implications to enable you to report remuneration of your employees correctly and with confidence.
To strengthen participants’ understanding on employment taxes and employer reporting requirements
