  • Summary

2019 is the first year of the new Singapore transfer pricing regime. At the start of the year, it is good for taxpayers to take stock of your transfer pricing obligations and establish your roadmap for the year. Our breakfast session will help you with that.

In addition to providing you a recap of the key changes in Singapore’s transfer pricing landscape, we will also share some of our experiences and learnings on the practical aspects of transfer pricing. In particular, we will put the spotlight on intra-group services – an area tax authorities are increasingly scrutinizing. Gone are the days of “cost plus 5%” and taxpayers will need to have more robust transfer pricing for service charges. We will walk you through practical implementation issues such as how to identify the appropriate cost base for provision of services, selection of appropriate allocation keys as well as the application of an arm’s length mark-up.

Our programme will cover:

  • Recap of key changes in the Singapore transfer pricing requirements and implications on Singapore-based corporate taxpayers
  • Your transfer pricing calendar in 2019
  • Experience sharing on the transfer pricing of intra-group services
  • Case studies on intra-group service transactions and discussion on practical aspects
  • Question & Answer session
