BDO Member Firms in 115 countries adopt a single trading name
BDO Raffles will be known as BDO LLP by 1 January 2010. This forms part of a global initiative that will result in all BDO Member
Firms in 115 countries worldwide adopting the single trading name of 'BDO'.
Adopting a single trading name is a key milestone that symbolises our continuing investment in building a consistent,
integrated and seamless global network of BDO Member Firms to benefit our clients. This will help to ensure that we are
recognised in the market as a unified global network.
The change also sees BDO entering into arrangements to enable all BDO Member Firms to utilise common IT software which should facilitate
the deployment of new network-wide tools and applications. This will benefit clients as it will enable easier document and knowledge sharing.
This is an exciting change for BDO and is the culmination of many years of strategic and operational investment and engagement.
It demonstrates as a member firm we are committed to provide a seamless, integrated service delivering the highest quality advice to all
our clients across the world. It also confirms our position not only one of the world's largest, but all other businesses operating in our marketplace.
