In 2011 Singapore has managed to edge out Hong Kong for top spot in the region. Scoring in first or second position across all six pillars of measurement, Singapore’s even performance is unique among the 19 countries reviewed.
Good Governance for International Business is the only index that focuses on the business climate for international companies and direct investors across Asia Pacific by evaluating and ranking 19 countries according to six criteria: Rule of Law, Openness to International Trade & Business, Political Stability, Taxation, Corruption, and Fiscal & Monetary Administration.
